Do I need my own server?
Yes. Lumen is a client for a Jellyfin server you or someone in your household runs. It doesn't include or sell any movies or shows.
Which versions does Lumen support?
Jellyfin 10.8 and newer, Overseerr and Jellyseerr, and Radarr and Sonarr 3 and newer. Lumen checks what your servers can do and adapts.
Do I need Overseerr, Radarr or Sonarr?
No. With only Jellyfin you get the full player. Add Overseerr or Jellyseerr, or Radarr and Sonarr directly, to request new titles from inside the app.
Can I reach my server away from home?
Yes, if your server is reachable from outside, for example through a reverse proxy or a VPN. Lumen tries your local and remote addresses and uses whichever answers.
Does one purchase cover all my devices?
It covers every device signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account. Use "Restore purchases" on a new device.
How do I cancel?
On iPhone, iPad or Apple TV: Settings › your name › Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
What data does Lumen collect?
Anonymous crash reports, which you can turn off, and the purchase records the stores need. Nothing that identifies you, your servers or what you watch. Read the Privacy Policy.
